Update on the Banana-Nut Bread for Bread Machine

As I previously stated, I decided to try making Banana-Nut Bread using my Bread Machine. So here's my thought on it.

The recipe is good, however it takes longer to use the Bread Machine. 1 hour and 50 minutes to be exact. I feel that that is way too long. I and my family also commented on the texture of the outer layer of the bread. It was too thick, tough and not very flavorful. No work was spared in using the Bread Machine either.

By making it in the oven I can cut the time of baking in half. The outer layer is thin and chewy, not tough and tastes great! The effort in measuring, mixing, etc. is the same in either case.

I like the recipe but not using it in the machine. From now on, I will just make it the old-fashioned way.
